Healthcare Ministry registers 1st nasal COVID-19 vaccine
MOSCOW, Apr 1 (PRIME) -- The Russian Healthcare Ministry has registered the first nasal vaccine against the COVID-19, the authority said in a statement on Friday.
"The Healthcare Ministry of Russia has registered the nasal form of the Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) vaccine developed by the Gamaleya research center to prevent the novel coronavirus infection," the statement read.
The vaccine is comprised of two components introduced in a three-week interval. The use is permitted for people over 18.
